Malcolm Hodge - Founder/President
Meet Malcolm Hodge, the heart and soul behind Benevolent Bridges. Malcolm's journey began with a simple act of kindness—sharing meals with those experiencing homelessness. His heart overflowed with empathy, and he couldn't bear to see others go hungry.
Yet, there were moments of heartbreak. Times when Malcolm ran out of food, leaving him with the gut-wrenching task of turning people away. It was in those very moments that the seeds of Benevolent Bridges were planted. Malcolm couldn't stand the thought of anyone being left without warmth, nourishment, and dignity.
Driven by a deep sense of connection to his community, Malcolm decided to transform these heart-wrenching experiences into something positive. Benevolent Bridges was born—a heartfelt response to the challenges faced by the homeless. It wasn't just about providing meals; it was about being a constant source of support, a beacon of hope in the lives of those who needed it most.
For Malcolm, this mission is personal. It's about creating a community where no one is left behind, where every person, regardless of their circumstances, feels seen and cared for. Benevolent Bridges is more than an organization; it's an extension of Malcolm's compassionate spirit, a testament to the belief that even one person's actions can spark a movement of renewal and empowerment through compassion and community.
